BBR = good customer service

Decided to get a revised tune for my '08 GT, so I called and left messages and sent emails to two of the most recognized tuners out there. Absolutely no response for nearly two weeks, despite multiple communications.

Someone suggested BBR, so I gave them a shot. Chris picked up on the first call, talked to me about what I wanted, and was very nice. The tune was in my inbox 2 1/2 hours later!

Later when I had a problem loading the tune to my old Xcal2, he walked me through some diagnostics that turned out to be the need for a firmware update.

In any case, Chris and the guys at BBR have impressed me so far.

I still have mixed fellings when using them. I placed an order when building engine and everything came in fast with out upgrading shipping past ground. I drop my car off at TPS and need to order a couple parts for Kenne Bell. I call them up and everything is on the shelf (so they said), so I place order overnight shipped to TPS. That was on a Monday, no parts Tuesday, no parts Wednesday, and I call them up to ask where they are at since car is waiting on parts to be tuned. They tell me they had them drop shipped from Kenne Bell and were supposed to be overnighted. I call Kenne Bell and they say BBR used standard Ground Shipping to my billing address (which is 1 1/2 hours away from TPS) and parts would be in Friday. Sure enough Friday comes and parts come in to my house, so I have to drive to TPS to drop off parts and they have to install them still before getting base tune done and me having to drive back over there. It delayed me by a week of getting the car back.

I called BBR and they offered me $15 off my next purchase. Then got mad at me for calling Kenne Bell on there behalf after they couldn't get ahold of them for 2 days. I would still buy from them but just a little mad they couldn't tell me the parts were not on the shelf and had to be ordered. I don't expect them to keep a Kenne Bell inventory since they aren't Kenne Bell.
