Well I bought my 9500ix off ebay about a year ago, but my friend made it fall of my windshield and it broke in half, so I have been running it with an elastic band around it to keep it together. So I decided to call escort to see what they could do for me...

I was on the phone for maybe 2 minutes and I already had a shipping label to RMA the old one. Sent it out wednesday, they recieved it friday and already had a new 9500ix with a FREE 3 year GPS update subscription with it IN the mail with FREE 2 day air shipping. All I had to do was give them the serial number on the bottom of my old 9500ix and they approved it for me. They didn't even bother to ask me for a Proof of Purchase.

I am very pleased with Escort. I started with their 8500 series and now their 9500ix, it is a great detector. And their support was great, now I am getting a brand new detector for free!!

Wow, thats great cust. service. Still don't know if its worth the money though

I had a middle of the road Cobra in my pickup and someone broke into it in my driveway and stole the detector so I AM in the market for one.
