if you wanted to know what problems they were then dont start off on the offensive. Thats my point. The problem is that I had purchased a brand new long block from dss. and from the first time we started it up the engine made noise. they told us to check the tune which is their standard first answer. The car was tuned stock, the problem got worse and worse. after about 10 miles on the engine the noise was much worse. We called dss, they said send it back and the will check it out. we sent it back and the first thing they tried to blame was pickup to pan clearance. when we told them that we used spacers they abandoned that excuse. their next excuse was that there "must be a hole in the pickup" they cant provide any pictures of this supposed hole and they even said they couldnt see a hole so it must be so small that its invisible to the naked eye. The overall excuse they gave me was that the engine was starved of oil. However the guages read that it had good preassure I was told by rick at anderson ford that my guage would show a drop in preassure if there was a hole in the pickup (I was surprised he would say this because they work so closely with dss) but i guess he is an honest guy. When I told this to one of the owners of DSS they said he doesnt know what he is talking about, I also called autometer and a tech told me that I would definately see it in the guage if there was a drop in oil preassure. Dispite telling this to DSS they continue to deny that they had anything to do with the problem. Coincidentally I was looking at their website and at the time when the problems began there was a job posting for an engine assembler. Possibly their last assembler was fucking things up? I dont know the story behind that. What I do know is that after I mentioned to the owner that I noticed they were hiring, the next day the posting was taken down. As far as im concerned they are a bunch of cocksuckers, I use to hear good things about them but now the more I look i am finding a lot of negative posts. the point is that everyone makes mistakes but its what you do to correct those mistakes that makes you a good guy or a fucking asshole. Sorry to bore everyone with this longwinded explanation, Hope you dont mind that little bit of shit talking i did a few posts ago.
