Cipher Auto Racing Seat Review

I just recently got my seats installed

They are super comfortable and now make me "feel like I'm going fast"

Also got the 4 point Cam Lock harness as well to go with.

But for real Cipher Auto's seats are a great deal... Also got the 4 point Cam Lock harness as well to go with.
They are one of our new vendors and also have a pretty hefty discount code

I took these when it was dark out so they dont do full justice, but its all I could do for now

Youd have to check, they have different seats.. I chose these ones because i wanted to give suede a try... Weight wise Im not sure but a lot lighter than the stock driver seat.. Maybe if you pm cipher they can give you exact numbers

The average weight is around 25 lbs per seat. In terms of how much, hit up our Vendor forum for the coupon code. Currently they MSRP for $319.99-$369.99.

Prices actually went up a bit recently, due to one of our distributors complaining. However, we will fix people up on the forum with very attractive discounts.

Those look comfy. But I refuse to have go fast seats unless im actually going fast.

+1 Still nice looking seats though, better than stock thats for sure.

Yea I usually wouldn't get go-fast seats without a super fast car.. But the stock ones aren't exactly my favorite design

How was the install process? Do you have any pictures of what the mounts look like or installing them?

I was going to take pictures of the install process but I couldn't due to my camera being at the wrong house... But it's so basic of an install.. The brackets are solid... They won't flex or break if that's what you were wondering.

Yes they move forward and back also they will tilt both ways.... Also are a little adjustable side to side

Whenever you get time, could we get a few more pics of the seats? I'll be looking for seats for my XR7 before long.

CipherAuto, do you guys carry brackets to fit your seats to a 89-97 Thunderbird/Cougar, or would I need to make my own?
