I ordered a BBK CAI from RPM and they shipped fast and works fine. Also ordered a useless TB spacer from RPM as well.

I've spent a little over $2,800 with American Muscle and haven't had any problems with them.

I haven't shopped with RPMOutlet but they do have a very good reputation.

I have to disagree. RPM Outlet is the WORST vendor I have ever dealt with. After over a month my Pypes just showed up today and it looks like they were run over by a truck. They packed them in a flimsy box that was not the MFR original and just used flimsy tape to hold it all together. Half the contents are missing and RPM won't return my calls or answer their phone (AGAIN!)

I have tried to contact them by phone, email and using their rediculous live help and they are just jerks. They won't answer questions or help with anything and they have treated me like crap. They lie and BS just to get you off the phone if you have any questions or problems.

I spent over $1000 on the whole shipment and I WILL NEVER do business with them again. It is likely that the pypes are ruined since it looks like they are just bent to hell. I know this is UPS, but the packaging was just not adequate for this type of product. I blame the delivery on RPM just like I blame them for the month long delay in shipping and their lack of customer service. I hate them and would suggest you take your business elsewhere. RPM OUTLET SUCKS!

I still have reservations about buying online. I try to buy anything I can from a local vendor first because I like to support my neighborhood guys. Also, they never give me shit about returning anything and of course, I can thoroughly check it out first. Even if the price is a little higher. I also get the "instant" gratification thing. I have only bought my mask online and it was from Autoanything.com.

I could barely understand the live Indian help and he knew less than me about cars. But the price was good and there was no place local to buy it.

At least at Autozone, ( at the one by me) there's an older dude that really knows his shit so Im lucky. I can get good advice from him that I cant get online. The Autozone by my house in Detroit sucked because nobody knew anything there except where the time clock was.

I "window" shop at RPM more often then AM. Not that it really matters for shit considering Ive never bought from either.

please never buy from rpm outlet. and if you do, hope that your order is right, cause if somethings wrong, you will be spending the rest of your life trying to fix it/get ahold of them. made that mistake once, now il be using american muscle...

i have spent a lot of money with both. i spent with americanmuscle back in 2004 when they were mustangtuning.com, i spent with rpmoutlet back in 2004 too. over the past 3 years, i have done a lot of online buying (most of the things i buy are off the internet), and both of these web sites have impressed me numerous times with free ground shippping, quick and friendly email chats, and ease of money transference. both are reliable sources for purchases, and i would recommend both for future purchases.

It sounds like RPMOutlet uses drop shipping, which could account for the differences in packaging, shipping time, and results since they are not in control of the shipping process.

I've ordered once from both places. American Muscle got my order right and they answer the phone when you call. The package was damaged and I wanted to make sure I had everything. RMP Outlet didn't and they don't answer the phone when you call. If they get your order right then you might be OK. If they get it wrong its a nightmare.
