Ordered some FRPP/Borla Stingers and received them within the week. Looked them up online and saw that some people have had some bad experiences with them. I never got a tracking # from them except an email stating that they've been shipped. Tried calling them a few times at different time within 2 days span and never got a hold of anyone. Other than quick shipping I dunno if I'll deal with them again.

Your experience wasn't bad so I wouldn't worry about it. Every company out there has pissed off customers. At least 50% of the time its the customers that are at fault but they don't want to look foolish so they blame the company that they did business with.

I wasn't saying they were bad. Just that I could never get in touch with them. But other than that I got the stingers quick

Let me make sure I understand this. You found the best price on the part and bought it. The website told you that no tracking number would follow (because of credit card fraud). We shipped the part immediately and sent you an email telling you it was shipped. You got it quickly and in excellent condition. And you're not happy?
Would you have been happier to receive a tracking number to a package that was going to ship in a few days instead of the day you ordered it?
We have been an FRPP warehouse distributor for over 20 years. The last 17 we have been in the "Top 10". The last 10 years we have been #2 or #3 in sales.
The only reason I mention this is because in 20 years our business philosophy has never changed. However the customers sure have. If you had any idea how many people write to us if they don't receive an email confirmation within 5 minutes of placing their order you would be amazed. This includes Sundays and holidays. It used to be that when you told someone you were shipping their package "today" they would believe you. When we tell you your package has shipped and you request PROOF; that is the same as calling us a liar.
The first numbers in every UPS tracking number are the company's UPS account number. Once you have that number you could (and people have) upgrade the package to AIR or you could change the address from the confirmed credit card address to the vacant house down the street.
I'm sure that replies will come flooding in from the people who didn't believe it when their parents told them "The world DOESN'T revolve around you".
For anyone over 40 years old (or over 18 and mature) that just wants honesty and the best deal on Ford Racing we'd love your business. For anyone who wants their hand held we would recommend they try "NUMBER 1".
Remember they have "FREE SHIPPING".
I'm sure I'll regret having posted this but it has been over 6 months since I last posted anywhere and have probably forgotten how well that worked out.

i don't discredit you as a company i'll look into buying some things from.. but just as you want people to trust your business and its ethics there is another company four blocks down the street that claims the same philosophy but has always had poor service in every aspect. people are not claiming your are trying to pull a fast one on them, but I'd say most people feel a little more at ease when they can contact a seller and find out something about the status/shipping/or whatever else of something they may or may not have ordered yet. that is a convenience you have when you purchase or order something in person at your local parts store for instance. online is very impersonal and indirect. every bit of reassurance a customer gets reaffirms the fact that you are taking care of them instead of leaving them wondering about their purchase. do you see what i mean?
the first six numbers past the "1Z" is the shipper ID.. i guess that is a tricky field trying to prevent credit card fraud in that manner but i dont see how the shipper id plays into it, interesting idea, however.. but back to the communication part.. if you had customer service reps at your disposal and a customer really needed to know the status of their shipment, the csr could easily use the tracking number to view the status of the package and inform the customer of it's status (on time, early, late, etc) and expected day of arrival

Any time a customer calls or writes for the status we happily provide it. At every step of the process the customer gets an email. "Processing" "Shipped" etc.
The complete tracking number would allow the "Delivery Intercept". The first 6 would allow any customer to do third party billing.

good point.. i guess conveniences such as those can be taken advantage of by dishonest individuals. if that is your stance, though, make sure the customer knows that instead of wondering where their tracking number is. just ad a disclaimer (unless you already have) to your confirmation email of order processing or whatever and let them know that they will not receive the tracking number of their package in order to protect the financial interests of your entity as well as to throw a red light on online credit card fraud and that you apologize for any inconvenience but that it is part of your company policy .. i would think a customer would see something like that as positive and would appreciate your actions.. just a thought, though

I ordered a set of 4.10s from them, and wondered where my tracking number was, so I emailed them, and they told me the item was shipped, got the gears within the next day or so, I thought their methods were a little unusual, but they do have good email response time, and their prices are amazing. They get a plus from me.

Well I wasn't bashing you guys. I simply stated that you had great prices and very quick shipping. I also stated that I never got in contact with anyone over the phone or received a reply to an email I sent.

Was gone for a week. Tried to see what's the latest on the Shelby site regarding KR mufflers. We caught her telling a lie. We're suspended for 14 years from their site. Sounds fair to me.
