Not necessarily true. As I've stated before, I've killed a guy across Karkand only to have him come find me and kill me about 5 minutes later. Now, I know staying in the same place is a bad idea, but I was shooting from a dark room, from the back corner, through a tiny ass slit created by a doorway that was angled at me. It would have taken someone literally being in the building or right around it to have ANY idea where I was at, but he happened to be glancing in my general direction and somehow, somehow, there was a scope glint that ultimately killed me. NO reason that should have happened.

I have not had a problem with the glint. But then again I play completely different than a lot of other people using a sniper. I won't say the glint has never killed me because it may have had a role in someone finding me and I just didn't think about it. But I never really shoot from the same spot though. If it's a big map I keep my distance but I move a lot. Only time I will shoot from the same spot is on a smaller map but even then I am always trying to move. Also you have to think about how many times people have played these maps, I can't tell you how many times I have been shot by a sniper and without even knowing where the round came from I can tell you at least 3 spots I know he could have seen me from and I watch those spots a little closer once I know there is a sniper.

BTW, origin name is Rvnhwx. I usually play a couple of games every afternoon. Been frequenting high ticket, small map, all out chaos server's lately. Get a good amount of point's pretty easy by just throwing down the Tugs thing.

I love when im sniping and im having a look around and I see 4 snipers on the other team with tactical lights or laser pointers on there gun, makes for a easy ass kill lol.
I never use anything that produces light on my sniper rifle.

Heh, haven't played in probably a month. But one thing that was fun is using the MK11/SVD/SKS and putting the 4x, grip and suppressor. You get the enemy bouncing around trying to find you.

WTF is up with that anyway? I mean I I use them for assault. But I turn it until I am about to pie a corner. I do find it funny when someone throws smoke, "Yep there he is... Boom"

I think its funny when I see it, I love it when they use it on Terhan Highway lol.

I just unlocked electronic jamming for the attack chopper. What is the best way to use it? I was just waiting until right before they locked on, then using it to break the lock, then moving away. i know its gotta be better than flares since it will stop the SOFLAM and CITV from locking, temporarily at least.

Read the last sentence of my quote that you responded to. The glint is doing EXACTLY that and he only killed you b/c you were camping and didn't move. It's doing the job it was created to do, keep people from sitting in one spot and camping. Had you taken the time to reposition, you wouldn't have been killed even w/ the scope glint.

The game would suck if half the teams were sitting in buildings looking through a door and sniping. It seems your just upset about it b/c it's giving away your position and keeping you from camping.

I played yesterday by myself and man does it suck. I cannot stand people who aren't aggressive w/ the tanks. Seriously, w/ the nerfing of the RPGs the tanks are VERY hard to take down. I hate people sitting way back and lobbing shots.

We were playing on Seine Crossing. I spawned on a buddy's tank who was sitting outside "C" and shooting through the little tunnel walkway over and over and over again. He continued to do this for over a minute while we were losing "D" and "A".

I played a lot yesterday and got a lot of good games. I almost was never under 15 kills. I even had a game where I got 14000 points. I got 3 service stars that game. It was awesome. Hah

My favorite part is when people stand on the stairs in the locker on Metro and are scared to rush the room or take B. So they go in one at a time and get killed the second they turn the corner. Oh well, I am getting a lot of XP for assault.
