open y pipe on my v6
It was friday afternoon... a boring one at that, which led to me removing the exhaust from the muffler back.

Thats how my exhaust is on my car. After a while it gets annoying. Especially when everything starts to rattle.

Also it's a lot louder if you don't have the cat back on the y-pipe completely. Will make it louder, and throatier.

ya i had a 2000v6 and had did the same thing and ended up taking out the cats also.

Cops around here don't seem to mind the noise. I'd like to assume though with no cats it would be way to loud. Not to loud for me... but it would earn me a ticket.
