West Texas tri-city meet: 8 minutes of street racing!

Well, it was a fun time!

Even though the weather took a crap on us decided to throw some 40mph wind our way. And the camera that I use for night vision ran out of memory half way through, so I had to switch to another which doesn't have night vision. And also some of the people that we were expecting to show up weren't able to make it *cough*Amarillo*cough*, so we had to start improvising on races, which turned some of them into sided fist fights..

But all things considered, it was a great success, and there will definitely be more meets like this in the future. Here's the video...don't forget to watch in HD.

That was pretty cool .....it was like the best of each city was racing for the state championship....lol

Very cool vid. That Viper was sick, but didn't look like there was that many cars that could hang with it.

That first race just shows that from a dig on the street anything can happen. He got raped by a basically cam only Camaro.

I don't know what that truck was thinking going against a modded 'Busa.

Yea, we were supposed to have another TT Viper and a TT Cobra show up from Amarillo, but they weren't able to make it. Hopefully they will be there next time.

The truck is actually fast as hell. He was on his street tune, which is only 7lbs. At the track, he runs 15lbs...and is well over 1,000whp at that point. Notice that we were spinning all the way up to 50mph during my ride along in the truck.
