'04 Mach 1 w/Eaton and 2.76 pulley (in car vids)

I posted this over in a thread about getting dyno'd in the 4v section but figured I'd throw it in here too where others'll see it. Just a vid I made the other night back from the shop.

It's an '04 Mach 1 with an '04 Cobra longblock and 2.76 pulley making 14lbs. Have a bit of belt slip that will be taken care of soon.

Btw, your guys's (the Cobra) block sucks. I swear that I can feel the extra weight of the iron block up front.

HAH! Not at all. But I definately swear I feel a difference. Feels like the front bottoms out more than it used to with the Mach block in it. Oh well. Just have to put a k-member in there and relocate the battery or something.

thats probably a good idea. after all, the new torque will hurt it. my jackstand queen can attest to that right now...

Haha oh yeah huh? Yeah it's already not locking all the time. So time to save up for something stronger with a few extra splines.

yuppers. a truetrac and some 31 splines would do ya good! the problem with mine is some freak issue that alot of people have never even seen happen. ugh... i got lucky, but then again i didn't. haha..

Yeah. At least yours isn't a DD. And at least it didn't happen at a bad time! Good to hear that you made it to and from where ya needed to go before it completely let go! Not sure exactly what I'll be going with but it probably won't be till next month before I get to work on the rear.

Here's a new vid I just made this evening. Starts out slow, but I saved the best for last. FYI, the part where I downshift to 2nd (near the end), I let off at about 110. And yes the freeways out here blow.

Oh yeah, an no more belt slip.

Squeezed a 74.5" Gates belt on there and it solved the problem.

I haven't heard my eaton in about a week...stupid fuckin slipping clutch. Had to go out when I was just about to swap out for a SRA.

I miss the sound of my eaton...
