Pig meaning slow? Or pig meaning ugly? Im thinking that your meaing pig meanign ugly. With me all of my buddy's down here we consider the term "pig" to be slow. Like "man that thing is a pig on motor" or "damn that thing is pig out of the hole". Thats the reason I stated the things I did. I just misunderstood it lol. However I don't like the body of the new mustang. I think that the 05-08 models look way better.

Even still the weight difference isn't that bad. I think its only like around 400lbs difference. Plus the camaro makes up a good bit of that with horsepower. Theres no replacement for displacement. You can't argue that statment either lol.

ugh..fine. It all depends on your goals...but you want to make your hp/tq goal while keeping your car as light as possible, which means you want to make that hp/tq with the lightest engine you can reliably make the power so you can have the best power to weight ratio. yes...larger engines are capable of making more power, but if you can make a reliable 800hp in a 600 pound engine, or you could make a reliable 800hp through better technology or forced induction in an engine that weighs 400 pounds, and you were to put them in the same car, which engine would make a faster car? yes, larger displacement allows for more power, but having a huge engine making as much hp as a much smaller engine can is just having a lot of useless weight. so its all about power to weight and your goals.

600lbs come on now man....I'll go about 420lbs+/-...Here we go back to the gm stuff....an all aluminum ls1(Stock makes around 330 hp) vs oh lets say a 4 cylinder.... what all will you have to do to make 300 hp....atleast a turbo right....so then we add in the fact of how much the turbo, piping, etc weigh..... plus the weight of the 300lbs cast iron block it will have to have to widthstand the power(Not to mention that factor of money for built motor and the turbo). You'll end up with a setup that weighs about the same making less hp.

. and aluminum instead of cast iron would be a technological advantage. But this is why i didnt want to argue something like this...its all a damn opinion. There is no fact saying which one is better...technology and forced induction or displacement.

Theres no replacment for displacment....thats cubic inches right....4 clyinders have small cid and v-8's have a larger cid. Im not trying to piss you off dude. But there are plenty of facts out there that aren't stated but proven. Sure you can make a civic mke 400hp and weigh 2000lbs...but the driveabilty goes down the crapper. How you gonna make that car hook up? A slick up front thats so wide you can't even make a full turn w/o scrubbing? Where as you take something that has more motor with the same "upgrades" as the 4 cylinder...which one is goin to make 1000whp? Ever seen Parish's turbo'd silverado? Perfect example. Go look at the vids.

OK I missed the part about v8 to v8.....mybad lol....so which v8's would you like to compare? Cause we can't go 4.6 to 5.7 b/c you already stated "I wasnt going GM at all, and i wasnt even referring to anything Ford"....
