drag race, GT500 vs Camaro SS

Everyone is complaining. Shit... if the z28 comes out, then awesome. The GT500 isnt the top stang. When and IF* they decided, a GT500KR may come about. That would be Fords chance to do some damage.

I love stangs, but damn it ford keeps the disappointment with the lack of power. 315 for a GT is sad IMO. they could have done better.

Based on past history, Ford has always missed that chance. In 68.5, The 428 CobraJet in the KR was considered a step down from the 427 in the "regular" GT-500, and then with the new Shelbys, the KR was just a GT-500 with a CAI, exhaust, really basic suspension tuning, and and some aesthetic upgrades (oh, and personal delivery to your house).
