0-60 in my TSI AWD..

Video is pretty self explanitory. I didn't know my 0-60 was as fast as it is.. Really not bad for a car that is as old as it is with not a whole hell of alot done to it.

More like six.. I took off at 19 seconds into the vid. It is alot faster now because today I took the adjustable fuel pressure reg. off and it was messed up so I went and got another one and now the fuel pressure is up 10psi so I raised to boost up about 5psi and still managed to stay under 13.5:1 air/fuel.. It will take a Z06 now. I found that out on the interstate today. God I love the AWD. I am still learning the best way to shift this car so I am sure this car will do 0-60 in 5 sec. If I can get my shifting down right.. I need a shift light because It redlines very fast.

Ive always liked the 1g DSM's. I was just talking to a friend about one of them tonight while watching the UFC fight.

They are stout little cars.

The only thing that I dont like is the turbo lag from the big 16g that is on it.. It don't reach full boost until like 4500 but when it does it had redictulous pull behind it. The car has full suspenion and it is super solid so when it pulls it don't feel as fast as my SRT was but it put a lenth and a half on a Z06 and held it until I let out at 115mph. This car dyno'd at 365awhp with a shitty fuel pressure reg.. It has a fully forged block and all bolt ons with all electronic gismos available running 24psi.. I can't wait to see what it dyno's now with 50 sumodd psi of fuel pressure when it is actually not running dangerously lean like it was in this video..

I'm sorry, but for 365 AWHP that is fuckin' slow. It's a nice car, I'm sure, but that isn't 365AWHP in that video...

Did you not read what I typed? I can't drive this car for shit yet I was shifting like a newb and the car had fuel problems. When the car is in boost it had 365hp you obviously know nothing of turbo cars.. just listen to my shifts in the vid and you will understand why it seems slow. Py attenion to when it spools and you can see that the power I claim is there..

With AWD if you don't shift right then the drag from the AWD kills the power ask any STI or EVO owner I speak the truth. Besides if you are used to N/A cars then it will deffinately not seem like 365 because the power is only after spool. Watch the vid when it hits boost the speed odometer almost time warps.. In this vid I was only running 18psi (DD tune) it has 365 with 24psi

I've driven and been in quite a few different boosted cars. I've driven and been in Evo's, been in an STi, and been in a few boosted civics with the B18 swap. I know how they pull. Obviously, I still don't know anything about them

From the second you hit the throttle to the time you let off was exactly what HMUSN said, 10 seconds. I don't care if you're granny shifting, if a car has 365 AWHP it's gonna pull harder and faster than that to 60mph.

I will get another dyno sheet in a few days when I go back and post it even though I don't care if you disagree or not I just don't want to be looked at like another torres..

Watch the vid again I took off at 19 sec. into the vid and hit 60 at 24 sec. I held it longer then 60 if you are counting til I let out then you are wrong..

The AWD's are hard to find but they are deffinately worth the search and they are such good running cars.. I like this one even more then I liked my skittle. They are so comfortable and mine have full racing suspention and still rides like a caddy.. I would advise anyone to own one and the 94 trade would be worth it. You wouldn't be disappointed. I had to get an eagle talon or a plymouth laser. I couldn't fathem then idea of owning a mitsu, then I would be a ricer.

Here is a pic of mine when it is clean..

As for the eagle, plymouth, or mistu name........regardless of the badge, its a still a mitsu.

Wasn't the laser only available in FWD until the last year or so, then they finally gave it the AWD option?

there is a 1g laser around here with 800awhp and theres one that looks exactly like it too but is mostly stock. too easy to get confused when the car isnt running.

The laser was not one of the favorites in the DSM world. Most DSMers will call a laser a poser car. I don't know why but I hear it alot.. I like the wheels because they are not flashy and the flow with the bodystyle and color of the car.. I am launching on 5500rpms now and it makes a world of difference..
