I'm not posting this because it's new i'm posting because i'm confused! I love mustang but is it possible that with the mods listed it beat a modded sti because I just can't see a lightly modded GT doing this to a modded sti or is just the sti driver is terrible!

they both dyno in at 230ish stock and have similar mods.

so they are probably at the same HP but the GT have the advantage of TQ and 4:10's

agreed, a friend of mine has a non-sti wrx with about the same mods and his is really quick. i think my GT would run about even with him.

but for the sake of the mustang family, ill say id smoke him.

That Mustang would of won for sure. not by much but would have won.. Sounded like it was the driver of the Mustang that sucked..

I still don't see how? being that I have more mods than that GT and I can only keep pace with a stock STI, and with those mods that STI should be a high 12 second car and there is no way a GT with those mods are running tweleves period I should know because I have one!

1.)it's real

2.)the sti driver probably doesn't know how to race his car very well. He should be running at a higher RPM, letting that turbo spool, but you can't even hear it at all!! (unless it's quiet enough where you don't really hear it, possible.)

3.)WRX's are AWD!!!!!! What does that mean? their 1/4 mile times are fast because of their ABILITY TO LAUNCH! AWD cars aren't very good high end because of all the power loss through the transmission. so the mustang definitely has an advantage if they really raced to 130.

not sure what the problem was either. the mustang was not spraying and he's a pretty shitty driver by the way his shifting sounded.... the STI should've eaten him i think unless of course he was a shitty driver as well.
