Went to haydays this weekend, it was nuts, for most of you that dont know what it is, its a snowmobile swap meet, and drag racing, and a lot of beer.
Here is a yamaha 4 stroke setting the world record, big ass turbo with a studder switch ( kinda like a transbrake but not really, same concept) So you can here him mash the throttle before he goes so he is wide open and you can here in banging off the limiter and boom he is gone.
Video doesnt do justice on how loud this snowmobile is.

Second video is more funny that anything. Thats my hometown and how nuts it was this weekend with haydays. 55,000 people walked through the gates on saturday and that was just saturday, they were only anticipating 20,000 people saturday, and 10,000 to 15,000 sunday because that was the number last year at its previous location.

Team Lemire is from my hometown if they were there this year. We did lots of work for them at my dads shop. They usually have some pretty quick sleds

is his name Matt Lemire, cause he had like 8 snowmobiles in all different classes.

easy, instead of running a proper track on them like in the snow, they actually run a track that is like a slick.

yup, they roll through the water box, stand there and rev them up while holding them back and then start moving forward.

Yeah, pretty much the same procedure for doing a burnout on a motorcycle. Only difference is motorcycles usually drive around the water box because a wet front wheel can be very bad at 120mph!
