I take it theres a post deleted? heh. Its only obvious.

I made a thread about Tomzac on my home Mustang club forum. I saw his car while browsing through Mustang World, and I was like, "Dude.. Thats just untouchable..."

People thought what he did was sick. Alot of positive feedback. I salute him for what he did on his car, made something that seemed impossible, possible. =]

Its not untouchable...
I think his numbers were right their with a procharged v6 (if not alittle worse) and a Turbo would eat him up.

Now what is untouchable is the fact that he got that idea to work and his car is unique now.

Yea, but last I remember he was running like 4.4 lbs of boost. Untouchable? No. Unique? Hell yea.

Yea, thats whats I meant. Of course adding a centrifugal blower to the mix puts out more. Way more. Ive never seen it, nor heard of it done, though. Just the uniqueness of it. And didnt he do it all himself, if I remember correctly? Pfft.. Coolness. heh.

It is unique but a Roots type blower puts quite a bit of stress on the snout of a crankshaft and I will be willing to bet he will have crank bearing problems in the future due to the extra stress cuz a V6 is not that strong up there..

ok, call me out if you will but either i missed something or just not understanding. but if the blower was an Eaton M90, how is that "making the impossible possible"? because to-be-sure i'm not the only one to remember the ThunderBird Super-Coupe a 3.8L "V6" topped w/ a M90.

Its an M112, not an M90 on the red car

My engine is a 2002. Through 99-01 Ford made its final upgrades to its Essex 90* V6 block casting. Some of which are better structural webbing and main bearing caps. The 01-04 are the strongest of the Essex casting. Said to be much stronger than the Supercoupe block. Crank material is a different story. I've wondered about bearing deformation due to crank snout flex. But with 10K+ miles on it, so far so good.
