Just trying to make it through Winter (vid)

I decided to take a short vid of my car idling today. The Blow-off-Valve is kind of loud, so it makes it hard to here the cams and the blower but you get the idea. I got the Bronco in the background to help make the
winter months more enjoyable. I love that truck almost as much as the GT.

Thanks. I agree about getting the cobra bumper shaved, but when I got it painted, I asked the shop to fill the lettering and they said that it wouldn't last ....Here's one with the BOV in action while driving. Before cams and at 8 psi. The camera car is a 99 trans am which is 10 sec car now.

I made 350 rwhp and 380 rwtq at 8 psi with the 3.85 Procharger pulley. Cams, LT's and 3.6 pulley netted me 81 rwhp. Lidio at Alternitive Auto in Chesterfield,MI tunes my car.

Royal Oak, MI......right on Woodward ave. Yeah, Lidio brings his yellow notch around this area every once in a while. I'm sure I'll be seeing his new 5.0 on Woodward this Spring. That second Vid is actually on the way home from Lapeer Dragway. I don't know if you guys are familiar. Sh!!ty track, but you get alot of runs in.

I think I'll be trying out Ubly or Mid-Mich motorplex this spring. I'm sick of Lapeer and Milan. Heck, I might even make the trip to Norwalk. I just hope I can get the car to where it should be. In the fall I was blowing through my clutch and was only trapping at 112 with a 12.3 and 1.63 60 ft on Draglites and ET streets. The car should be trapping at about 119 and mid to high 11's. I since put a Spec stage 2+ in.

mmm is a much better track to spend the weekend at, but ubly is good for just t&t's and a lot of people have ran their best times there, i prefer mmm tho. plus at ubly the shut down time is short so you really gotta slap them brakes to stop on time lol, but they're real flexible about their laws and such. also, your numbers are just a tad higher to what 2v2fear put down and he ran a 11.6@118 at ubly so your goals are deff there.

Good to know. I just hope my 10 spline input shaft holds up. I just have to install my SLP line-lock kit and Baseline upper rear suspension.

I sold my rotted out 93 XLT to get the 96 Eddie Bauer with the 351 and rust free, which is extremely rare in michigan, for $2800 and then I put 33" Goodyear MTRs on it.

Damn good find, no rust on the rear fenders is a super hard find anywhere. You got a good deal man damn I always wished mine was a 351 and I would've killed for some 33x12.5's

that was my next question, where ya lived. Pretty sure I've seen you a few times around the Troy Motormall, Maple rd/crooks area.

Yeah I've seen lidos fox out on saturday nights too on woodward. pretty clean car.

My buddy goes to ubly. He loves it. Out in the middle of nowhere and never busy. I believe lido goes there too.

I think you'll be ok with the 10 spline input shaft for how much power you have. I was reading on another thread that the 6speeds in cobras have the 10 splines. If they are pushing 600-700 tq and running 10s i think yours will be ok. Like I said I'm 99.9% positive I read that in another thread? is this true ?
