couple things.
what are you using to edit/mix?

move your crash a bit closer so you're not extending that much.

and two, you NEED some Evan's EC2's (SST's) mann, you have to let them breathe!

shine kit's LOVE the EC2's, and the give them so much more depth (tom's) and body.

lol first and for most lemme just say ive been playing for 16+ years and i am Endorsed by Shine and Soultone :p

Im using Cuebase LE 5 and a complete armature on recording and stuff,

I have the crash out more because of my style of playing too close cramps my arm and it sits just outta reach of the ride because my ride is a ... 24

and im currently using Evans G2 coated ill have too look into the EC2's im a tone freak.. and by that i mean im ANAL as hell on how they sound. hahah

And i too LOVE the soultone's i was iffy at first but my AR Rep from Shine said nothing but great things about them and i decided to accept the endorsement deal from them and im 100% happy i had one crack right away but there hand made so its bound to happen but they fixed the issue with no hassle what so ever so i rec them if your looking for something different and you tell them the sound you want they go out pull the cymbals and look for the tone you requested.
