What H/C/I setup do you have that only makes 260rwhp? I figured it'd be well over 300.

AFR 165's, Trickflow Stage 1 cam, Trickflow Track Heat Intake. I thought the same thing. The tunner said "you do have shorty headers, you're running a catted Hpipe, you have all of your accesories(smog pump, AC, and its an Auto tranny" im guessing the tranny soaks up a good chunk of power. Tune was done on DynoJet and i ran 91octane. Diablo Sport chip. I guess thats one way to justify 260rwhp.

Ehhhh, the accessories don't matter a whole lot, any plans to change the exhaust? Is it stock or aftermarket?

The exhaust is aftermarket, shorties, hiflow catted H and Magnaflow mufflers. I am planning on longtubes and offroad H or X. Hopefully i can wake up a few more ponies and be closer to 300rwhp. Eventually when this engine gives out, ill consider a 351 or 460 for full race application. We'll see.

Yea I always wanted to do a 347 stroker in my mustang when I had it, but it wouldn't have been the economic choice for what I had. Maybe a more aggressive cam is what it really needs, hell it might even be cheaper than buying a new exhaust setup..
