Yep saw his car a couple times, that is some hardcore racing going on. I laughed pretty good and the starts when they just floor it around in the grass when the car in front doesn't take off as fast. Then saw a foxbody later in the video going for and overtake while completely in the grass. Crazy stuff on there.

Thats pretty reckless stuff. I'd be frustrated with all the crashing going on and trying to pass in the grass foolishness. Looks fun though. Half race half demolition derby.

But seriously, all the contact in the beginning is old footage from past years when we were mixed with other run groups. As for the rest, well...it's a highlight video. That was a years worth of contact shown over the course of 24 races.

Our series does not condone contact between cars and whenever there is, the car at fault receives an automatic one race suspension if the other car is damaged. At a minimum, if the contact causes a loss of position or puts a car off track, the driver at fault will get DQ'd for that race. The only time there is no penalty is if it's just a slight bump that causes no damage, position change or offs (paint transfer and tire donuts don't really count as damage).

The bottom line is that we don't ever try to hit each other, but we all understand that when you have 30 or so cars driving at their limit to try to get to the front of the pack...shit happens.
As for the grass passing, blocking, cutting off, etc. we have strict rules illustrating the right and wrong way to execute these things, and yeah, we're all pretty ballsy on track with each other because we have a really tight group here in our region. We all know and trust each other and we all know what the other drivers capabilities and limitations are.
