03 R code has a new best of 12.1 with his mach 1

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yw-7FfpTGOE

1loudgt has a new best of 12.6 at 110.88 with the novi on the gt

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XN5MVvUFIdM

A 1.96 60 foot and alot of spinning, followed by me driving the gt in the last past doing 12.8 with a 2.1 60 at 112. Slicks helpd but still spun like amotha bitch. btw the focus I believe has turbo and nitrous so it is fast.

Thanks for videoing again. I hope your dad get's that car dialed in on the track next time we go. That's a lot of power under that hood just waiting to hook up. Once he does he'll be beating my ass on a regular basis!

P.S.: any chance you guys are going to make it out to Daytona today? I'm still at work now... Sucks. Give me a call if you head out and I'll see if I can cut out of here.

Not necessarily true. It depends on the tune and the output of the supercharger. With a 110 mph trap speed I think 11's might be possible with a better 60 ft

Nice vids, what track is that at? Keep posting them up so I can dog 03's slow Mach.

03 R, you are almost to the 11s. As long as you have decent air, I would bet you get an 11 slip the next time out.

flattus, better tires and you will be in the 11s as well. 110 is generally indicative of a low 12, gonna need a few more mph to get 11s. To get to 11s at that mph, you will have to have a very low 60. You probably 4-5 mph which I think the car is more than capable of.

Well it has e.t. streets, but as you can see we did the WORST burnouts that night, which you can just see in the video. With the gt though, we missed the dyno cause the car we took to go pick it up after the install broke down on the way, and we don't think it's on the most aggressive tune... so were going to look into that cause we need to squeeze more tq out of it.

Tonight were ganna spend time roasting em, and if traction is there launch a tad harder. Hopefully tonight we can muster up a 12.4

From what I could tell there wasn't much of a burnout at all. Get them going until you see some smoke. You are going to have to 2 foot it if you don't have a line lock. The ET Streets should stick pretty good when they heated up enough.

What do you think they should set the tire pressure at? I was thinking with those tires it should be below 18psi. I run my radials at 18psi or higher. Deffinantely a longer burnout, but how much less air in them?

Dog my mach????? Is joo crasie??? I'm really debating on when I want to start getting more suspension parts. I want to see how fast it will go the way it sits, and then again, I want it to go faster! I'm still sorta standoff ish about letting the tires go down lower than 18psi... I've seen some people say that lower is worse, and others say they run theirs at 15-16psi... Don't know which way to turn now. Any suggestions?

John your mach does 12.6... thats just crazy. The combination of your driving with suspension and maybe some more bolt ons, and you will prob be doing like a 12.2 on motor easy.

That's what I'm hoping for... I just need a good weather day, along with a good track prep day, along with a good set of drag light rims and skinnies, and maybe a front k-member...! That should do me good!

My quickest time is 12.5 @ 110 NA. That was on slicks and stock front wheels. How to shave a bit off of that with skinnies this year. I have only made it to the track once this year and the DA was 4000 feet. It was in May and my adjusted times were around 12.2 @ 112. I know you have a 12.1 on the juice. What was your time NA?

I would definitely look at upper and lower control arms, fats/skinnies, and tubular k and a arms.

I didn't run n/a last time out. It was go boom or go home for me! I've already got a set of rear upper and lower ca's from steeda. I just don't know if I want a tubular front k and a arms or light weight rims and skinnies... Maybe both!
