Shelby GT 500 Video: Lesson on breathability

This Shelby GT 500 frees up 44RWHP and 68lbs of torque with the addition of a bolt on exhaust system. We had the pleasure of producing this video and experiencing the results.

I wish I had a lift!!!

That is pretty impressive though

kooks is a great company and make some fine stuff. A full exhaust with long tubes is a great investment no matter what the car is. I've seen LSX based cars get very similair gains on a header setup.

I'm actually more impressed with the numbers gained by a cold air intake on those cars.

they probably forgot to mention that Jim D'Amore did a little tuning on that car and he runs kooks on his saleens. LOL. if i were to go with headers it would be kooks

Just saw that on another board. I'm in love with Kooks products. I don't know why though, I haven't bought anything from them yet! I'll be getting a header and mid pipe set up from them someday....

There's a coating of oil on the inside of new exhaust parts. It's gonna burn like that for the first couple of hours after install.
