12.40 at 110

New best today... put the brenspeed in for the supercharger, but it was 103 degrees of Florida heat today.

But the car in general pulls harder, and we went from a 12.43 to a 12.40 and our best 8th mile of 7.9. our 60's foots are down from 1.9 to 1.8s. The car might pull a little harder up top if it wasn't for the damn heat. Either way we left the track happy. My dad made the run so I'm proud of him!

Nice run! Was that on the street tires or the drag tires? Looks like it's getting closer to where it should be in times.

P.S. next time call a nukka if your gonna go to the track. I might of wanted to tag along, and I could have brought the blazer and raced the kayaks down the strip!

Thats on the slicks... were getting use to em. It seemed to hot for the car to pull in the top end. I contemplated calling you a few times last night. Weren't sure if you'd be willing to make the trip. Me might go next wed if the heats a tad lower. hoping for 12.2-12.3 if were lucky. I'm siked with a 7 in the 8th though. Plus the burnout was terrible, but thats just my dad for you. jk. So a better burnout and we could of saw a better time.

what kibnd of opiwr does the car make with the blower, and what slicks, psi and rpm, and hows he launching. sounds like he spun pretty good off the line

Don't know the exact power yet... horse power is above 400 but idk about the torque. We put a new tune in for the blower, but no dyno yet. I wish it wasn't 103 degress out and we might see some better times. But there mt cheater slicks. And there only at like 19-18 psi. To scary at like 15 lol. Maybe one day we could go down.

drop the tire pressure more, on drag radials it wont get squirly on the top end like a slick will

yeah we picked up a wheel and tire como from brenspeed. They take to stock bullits from an s197 and put cheater slicks on em. It's a good deal. I think we might go with drag radials when these tires wear out. I think once it gets colder and we start seeing the track more we will drop the pressure to maybe 15. Unlucky for us we picked up drag racing in the summer. Hopefully around nov oct the cooler weather will have an effect on our et's lol.
