That's great! I went on a turkey hunt last year and was still learning how to bow hunt. I stuck a turkey and it try to fly away. When I ran the turkey down I had to kill it . I like that alot better it less pain for the turkey.

Bout the only way you can kill a damn turkey is to shoot it in the neck just below the head anyways. I have hit em with slugs from a shotgun and still had to chase the bastard almost a hundred yards before he finally fell. Ethical? There is nothing ethical about hunting, rifle or bow. If you want ethical chase that bitch down and kill it with your bare hands. At least he has just as much of a chance as you do then.
