they do im very impressed with that car, i cant believe its that badass. i saw a car n driver magazine comparing the GT500 and the vette won! i was lik noo..no way i doubt it, but after a few video i deffinitly would say that vette will toast almost anyhting stock vs stock. even cars $100,000 more then it

the new vette is really nice. the main reason the new cobra is a dog is because of the weight... but tim hung in there great and whooped him through the 1/8. i bet if you look at the timeslips, you will see how time beat his ass out the line and then the vette just smoked. the ls-series is a sick motor- great run tim :award

I would never call the new gt500 a dog. Only video I have seen of one run at the track was stock and it ran 11.81 with tire spin. I'll see if I can find out whether it has radials or not but they obviously didn't help much.

no way ti could have been completely stock the best ove seen in the mags is 12.3-4i can see getting a tenth or two faster but not a full half a second but i could be wrong

idk car n driver sed it ran high 11's along with the 911 tubro...i wouldnt doubt it.
500 hp....the 03-04 SVT runs mid high 12's stock. i wouldnt doubt that vette runs high 11's stock

I dont believe everything I read in the magazines. Motortrend also said 03 cobras ran 13.29's. The fastest I have seen on the factory tires is a 12.3. The video of the GT500 is on this site and you can see from the 60ft and just the actual run that there was tire spin. Weight means a lot but just because a car weighs a lot doesn't mean it doesn't have the torque curve to get it going.

all the ones i have seen going that fast were not stock. stock means everything from original tires, to paper air filter, the one on the site had tuning done , gears and that sae car is now in the high 10s but completely stock they are running low 12s. please prve me worng though becasue that would be badass

idk i'd believe the new z06 runs high 11's. 505 hp! the 03-04 cobra ran mid 12's with over a 100hp less then the new z06...im surprised it doesnt do mid 11's actually considering weight and the way the car is made and shaped
