n00b with a n00 exhaust clip

I got bored today so I pulled the stang out the garage and made a little exhaust clip. I have a Magnaflow catback(the quiet ones, not the magnapacks so turn up the volume and press play

believe it or not it's only set at 3800 now. Once I get bigger set slicks I'm going to jump it up a bit.

any higher and it'll just blow the tires off. This way I can still launch with the pedal to the floor and still somewhat hook up. I have yet to launch it on the 2 step because it wasn't working when I went to the track, but that's what SHOULD happen.

that was the 2 step. My rev limiter is set @ 6600.

yeah, it's got a setup of MPH custom grinds along with some other stuff.

The lope isn't too radical but that was what I was looking for, a cam that didn't shake the car to pieces but made great power. I'm sure if I would have went w/ an x pipe and different catback it would sound nastier, but I like the "sleeper" route.

What kind of setup for your 2 step are you running?? MSD DIS4?? SCT?? I'm looking at going with the SCT for my Mach I love me some two steppin'. SOunds sick bro

thanks, it's the SCT. I'm trying to figure out how to run the N2O through the clutch relay so I could be on the 2 step w/ the N2O armed and the WOT switch tripped but not spray while staged. Once I get that and a few bugs worked out she should fly.

Guys it's a two step not the rev limiter. Sounds sick man. Looks like it has a nasty trap behind it to for being an na 2v!

thanks guys. I did a complete motor swap, heads, cams, headers, etc so I can't say what I gained from just cams. I did however gain roughly 100rwhp (NA)with everything. It cost me more than I ever planned because a machine shop decided to go through my brand new, already built block and re-hone it and in doing so he over honed it. After 350 miles I pulled the motor back out and sent it to Proline Race Engines where Tim Lynch built it, I had to pretty much pay for the bottom end twice.

yeah I think the car still has a few tenths in it NA but I don't think I'll get much more MPH out of it. I'm figuring that on the bottle it should go ~124mph.

The bad thing is I bought a new car and barely drive the stang now. I need to get off my ass and get my N2O tune and get some seat time with her.
