Cant hate on the DSM's...

I have to respect a car that is faster then mine...

A guy that I know from an old forum is in the 10's with his SRT-4...That is quite respectable...

Personally I think the Shelby's are not worth anywhere near the cost they are asking...And I dont really care for the way they look to tell you the truth...

I saw that video on SRT forums. That guy thinks he's the king of the world now. And of course, there was a whole gaggle of nutswingers there to feed his engourged ego.

They are like that...Well most of the SRT Drivers are at least...One of them gets a good time at the track and then all of sudden since they have the same kind of car they all made that time...

i think the shelby is a fat ass kid. damm near 4,000lbs and its stickered in the 40s but no one is selling it for that much, ive seen conv. Gt-500 selling for 80k! i'd rather get a C6 z06 if i had to choose between the 2...

terminator will always be king in my book, brand new they were $32-34k best bang for your buck stang new at least...

Yea i def respect the neon, but i would never want one. If i could have a choice of car.... Id def take a 1970 Boss 429.

yep srt-4's are great, there cheap,good on gas, and rated asa sadan, o and there quick,quicker than a gt stock for stock. but look at them, even with body mods and nice wheels there kinda ugly. i have thought about buying one before, with a stage 2 and exhaust, there pushing v8 numbers. and that vid is shit, i don't think the gt500 guy could drive very well.

I'm a fan of the SRT-4, but'll never own one myself... not because they're not produced anymore, but simply for the fact that there are soooo many better turbo'd 4-cylinder cars out there. But if a little 2L engine that gets 30mpg can beat my modded V8, than yeah, coo in my book ya be.

I see a lot of the new Shelby's at shows now - is that really fair? How can you say you have a show car when you just drove it off the lot three days ago? Anyone else feel that way?? I think they're cool but yeah, at 2tons you might as well be using it for towing a trailer jeeesh, not too agile so I'd pass on it unfortunately. So I'd agree with CT - for the $$ I'd rather drive a Z06.

I really think they Should put the guys awith the NEW Shelby's in their own class or soemthing...Before I left for this deployment I saw a guy with a New Shelby take 1st Place at a Big Car Show...And his car was bone stock and still had the paper floor mats...I think it is rediculous...

The car shows around my area need a new way of putting cars in classes IMHO...
