but i would love to see what would happen if the GT500 would do with the same ammount of $$$ in it as the neon.......even the termenator with as much $$$ into it...... I dont think I would ever buy a neon so i could spend $20,000 for the car and then $60,000+ into it. Id rather buy a $20,000 03 Cobra and spend $10,000 on it and still blow away neons with $60,000 put into em. is it just me or does that more sense???? lol

Nope everyone likes to go from a roll...Which I think is the ghey...

It may still be a neon but you have to respect them...My buddy Ben has one that will walk a full bolt-on GT...He is shorting for the terminators this next season...He will get them too...

I think the Shelby's are over-rated...

The lack of from a dig racing is due directly to the lack of knowing how to drive. No one wants to take the time to try and learn, instead just keep using the excuse "I could not get traction, that's why I lost."

And yeah, the shelbys are overrated. I was very dissapointed in them when I found out how much they weighed, versus the hp.

the terminator is IMO best stock mustang yet made for its price and all around. i dont care for saleens nor this GT-500. so almost 4,000 pounds

Those SRTs are quick, comfortable, and a nice car. I've driven one before. Easiest 5 speed I have ever driven. More leg room than I thought. I was impressed with car, but it still came down to its a neon. A fast neon, but a neon none the less. Also they don't make them anymore they are putting the engine into their new caliber. I'm much happier with my slow v6 mustang than that neon. All preference.

My buddy ben has less then 3K in his and he is a 12 second car...With full interior and all...He will be in the low 12's this next season...The car rides great...Performs great...I thought about buying one at one point...But yeah they are still a neon...

The calibur is the Neons replacement...They are goint to have an SRT-4 Calibur it is said to put down 300/300...The R/T will not have the power the SRT-4 does but it will be AWD...Which ones those crazy DSM guys will end up swapping the AWD out of an R/T into and SRT-4 within days of its release...I gotta hand it to dodge...They made a nice little econo box...But I would still rather have a Mustang...

If someone offered to give me a Shelby I would take it...I would either put it in a garage somewhere and never drive it...Or sell it...I dont care for them really...
