my heap on the dyno
I quickly realized that my 10# bottle isn''t enough, on top of that it wasn''t full when I went. We made a test hit on a 50 shot and all was well, did 2 hits on the 100 shot (changed the fuel jet on the 2nd hit because the 1st hit was too fat, 2nd hit the a/f looked nice but started to fall as I lost bottle pressure). Then we did the 150 shot, the car actually made less hp than it did on the 100 but the a/f fell as low as it could go (10:1).
I now know that I either need to run two 10# bottles or one 15# bottle. The dyno at JMS reads much much lower than the other dyno that my car made 320/333 NA on. In fact today it was so low it read 302/306 NA, which I don't really care. The car turns the ETs of a car with 320+rwhp and ET's are what it's all about. Anyhow the car made 390/474 on a 100 shot losing power because of the bottle pressure. I'm quite sure than on the 1st dyno it would have been closer to 420ish, but as long as it runs like it actually makes it I'm not too worried about dyno numbers.

I suggest you try another dyno. My car made 313 at one point and a few months later it came down to 298. The smoke gave me signs of worn rings/blow-by after so much nitrous and beat downs on a daily basis. At one point I got 419hp/494tq on a 125 shot. At the end, I was lucky to get 393/448...

OH my god dude, I love it so much. Sounds so smooth. Yeah magnaflow are just way too much money for me. i cant afford no 600.00 catback. If i find one around 300-4 id probably pick one up. My catback right now is so rusted and shit its about to blow out. so i know i gotta start looking for a new system soon. sounds really good though man. Great job with her.
