I swear sometimes I think there are more 1000+ HP Vipers than not.

Bad ass video for sure. Even the slow motion replay looked like most races filmed in real time.

They didn't get many clean runs becaus someone always kept missing shifts, but from the few that they did get in it seemed the Viper would put about three cars on the Cobra.

The Viper just makes so much more torque than the Cobra ever will, and the aerodynamics on a Viper are a lot better. I would say HP for HP on Turbos the Viper Wins, not to mention it takes the Viper about 15psi to make close to 1000rwhp and the Cobra 25psi. Like they say no replacement for displacement. As much as I love my Cobra, a Viper is a bad bitch.

I think the only high end car to run actual vtec was the acura nsx. All the others had variations of it dependent from the manufacturer and what they wanted to call it.

that gobra should be more than that. most of the TT cobras ive seen the #s for, HP and TQ are pretty close to eachother
