the last race... the vette posted a win with a 10.99 and the mustang had a 10.95?? did i read that correctly?? wtf the stang won it..

I can't watch vids at work but since the cars are pretty evenly matched (just .05 separates them). The Vette coudl have had a better reaction time and won with a slower ET.

Nice car but I don't buy that 620hp claim. The car doesn't have anywhere near the mile an hour to make that much horsepower, especially spinning the tires as bad as it does.

Just a reply to Darrel's post, a friend of mine has an 03 with a whipple just like the one in the video that also made 627rwhp/591rwtq and his time is 10.94 @ 132mph.

That is a bit more believeable. If you figure the car weighs 3700 pounds with driver and fuel 132 mph is pretty close. There is a big difference between 132mph and 127mph as far as horsepower goes with vehicle weight being fairly close.
