no offense taken. I guess that you are talking about NA times, right? I've only been to the track twice with this setup (both during the summer). When it cools off it should go some low 12's or high 11's with some weight reduction. On the spray I'm shooting for some 10.8-.9's. If I can get the car to hook up (on my slicks) and trap 124-125mph that should be enough to get me in the 10's. Right now (on too short of a tire that is killing my ET) I'm trapping 120mph with the bottle pressure falling and having to go to 6600rpm (my car makes peak power at 6k and my N2O cut off at 6300). That was done with a 1/2 of a bottle and only a 100 shot. I later found out that my bottle has a leak, I'm guessing from the valve. I filled it since the track and a month later opened it and it only had 1/2#. I guess I've always been a sucker for the whole "underdog" thing. That's probably why I stayed with a 2v, still have the stock intake and there are a ton of boltons I still could do. I don't think it's going to be easy to get a 10second slip but do think it's attainable. It probaly would have been easier to run in the 10's with a 4v and fi, but I would have still had to build the bottom end, do everting else, plus get 4v heads, 4 cams, intake, and then the blower. I already had the N2O because I've been running it for like 8 years. It would have cost more $$ IMO to switch to a 4v. Plus when I pop my hood most people thing it's a stock 2v .
If I was only planning on running 12's I would have kept the stock internals, but to make any decent power the motor had to be built.

Like I said no offense taken, I hope maybe you understand a little better why I went that route now.

Luv the choice in music for the vid. Little Seger with Turn the Page..

Liked the vid, Looks like you have had some fun & thats what the mustang is all ablout.. For each of us we have it a little differnt but we start with the Ford Mustang & it brings joy to our lives.. If I am down I just go for a drive in the stang. It never fails to make me feel better than I did before getting behind the wheel.

I absolutely love your car man, i hope to be there soon. Are you running the 3.5 inch studs in the rear? Do you have to run any type of spacers with your DD bullits bc of them? Im thinking of buying some 3.5 inchs studs and i just wanted to know if ill have any issues with them.

BTW why are you still running your stock intake? You'd love the JLT one .

Mikey,

Damn work filters. I'll view this when I get home. What did you use to mount the camera. I want to do the same thing this season. -Mark

Mark, you know I'm ghetto so this is how I did it. I put my camera on a tripod (with the leg together) set it on the right side of the drivers seat. Put a towel around my seat and used ratchet straps to tighten the tripod down (going around the seat and tripod). . I actually have a pic of the setup in another video.

LOL. I was thinking of using my tripod as well with bungy cords. lol. The vid is nice. Good choice of using the Kenny Rogers version and not the metallica one. If you have the vid of the one showing the tripod I would appreciate it. -Mark
