Opinions on my new hood!

aight check this out guys i got this for 100 bucks.Im eventually gonna paint it white and have some stuff done to it to make it functional and what not.Im not sure on how much i like it.IT WAS AN IMPULSE BUY.DIRT CHEAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have the same hood, its alright, but if it would of been me instead of the guy that had the car before me, id have a cowl hood.

Me? I don't like cowl hoods in general unless you have something under the hood that needs the extra space.

You? It doesn't matter what I think as long as you like it.

I do like the black hood/white car look though! Especially with the Ford racing banner on your windshield but look out because cops are going to start looking more your way! Black hoods/different color car just screams race!! LOL!

If you're looking for some tinted clear corners I have a brand new set for sale. That would really set your car off! Of course, that's just MY opinon! LOL!

When I was going to paint my hood all black, alot of ppl said dont do it, but after I did, they said they liked it.....so who knows......you got do what you like....

I like it. I think it will look better when you paint it and if you add a spoiler. I'm just not a big fan of spoilerless Mustangs.

And $100 is so cheap. If push comes to shove you can put your old hood back on (hopefully you still have it) and sell that for at least $100 and not be out anything except the time to swap the hoods.

I do have a spoiler i just took it off to see what it would look like.Im not leaving it on the car black I just bolted it on to see what it looked like.Im undecided what direction im gonna go with on my car.Im gonna put the stock one back on til i decide if im gonna paint it or sell it!leaning more towards the latter!Regardless i "stole" it for that price so im happy!

You know what would really set your car off now with that hood? Drop the front literally like an inch lower than the rear. Make her ass stick up!

...then get a nice drag radial for the rear and then put the spoiler on.

Seriously....that'll look badass man!

for 100 bucks.its a steal,u can always turn around an get prob 350 off ebay for that hood.me i like but i would sell that one an buy a cobra r hood for it

That's doesn't look bad at all man. Just make sure you like it, paint is not cheap.

I priced painting my Cobra hood and the quotes were around $500-$800. It may be because it's silver though, I don't know.

I have NEVER seen a Mustang that was spoilerless that I didn't think would look so much better with a spoiler of some type on the back (doesn't have to be the stock one). i'm not really a big fan of that hood, but it's your car, so if it makes you happy keep it. Otherwise, it shouldn't be too hard to sell it for quite a bit more than you paid for it!
