hood scoop ?


hey all igot an idea my and my friend came up with. i want to run it by everyone.. its just an idea so dont be asses lol. ok i got a hood scoop, but i want a more agressive look.. i want to some how make it taller by making it bigger by 1/2 inch in front and 1/4 in in rear giving it more agressive look plus giving my stang a different look. my buddies got all the tools and stuff needed for this, i just want to know what everyone thinks?

The only thing that comes to mind when reading that was the STI hood scoop and that thing is hideous!!!

never mind, like on the suberus ( or how ever you spell it ) like on the wrx sti's? its not going to look liek that, it will be taller but not short.

I know what your saying, i think it would look good.


Ive thought alot about making mine taller and a little longer in the front, but i was going to mold it into the hood as well.

omg yea, thats like EXACTLY what i want to do... i just want a diff look and i think that would look sweet as hell!!! now, what material would i use to make it "bigger" i guess you could say? i have some fiberglass gel stuff i had to use on my scoop to put a bolt back in ( after it fell off ) do you think that would be fine? or what

i was going to get another scoop to cut up to help make the extensions, and i would use smc repair material since the hood and scoop are booth smc.

I have always had good luck with SEM products and thats what i would use if i ever decide to do it.
