97 Cobra hood question
So I recently lost my 99 GT to a drunk driver that hit my parked car, but the good news is with the settlement I bought a 97 Cobra! It has the stock hood which I love, the only problem is on the passenger side little cowl (nostril) looking thing, the "grille" or wire mesh has a hole in it. Does anyone know where I can buy a new hood cowl grille w/o having to replace the whole piece. Thanks, Chris

the stock 97cobra hoods dont have wire mesh they have black plastic with holes in them. you can buy a 97 cobra hood scoop on ebay and it will come with the plastic.
or you could try the ford dealer but it would probly be cheaper to buy the whole piece on ebay.

ya i'l stop by the local ford dealership and try the junkyard and ebay. i'l also call up mps autosalvage and ask them to keep an eye out for me. thanks

good luck fiding one of these cars at the junk yard....
+1 on buy a 97 cobra...best looking mustangs imo the 96-98 cobras...
