antenna dont fit

yea i got the shorty 8" antenna for christmas. should just screw off the old and in with the new. well its too small to screw in. any ideas?

Where did you get it from? It may have the wrong "adapter" in it. I got mine from AM and it fit perfectly.

i got it from AM too. theres only one adapter, theres alrdy one adapter inserted in it and its too small

Mine didn't act like it was going to fit but went right in with a couple of twists.

Put a little bit of lube on the tip, and for God's sake, have some more patience man!

You can't go trying to jam that thing in there whole hog, it will only make the entire experience more difficult. Try putting a little bit in at a time. If it doesn't catch right away, pull it back out slowly, and then slowly slide it in again. Wiggle it a little bit from side to side as you try to get it in there. Continue twisting. Sooner or later you will be able to get the entire thing in there.

But beware- don't get too rammy, or you might snap the fucker right off.
