I dont remember if it was ppg or standox/dupont but eitheir way when they came to do a do a demo which means free paint anything we ask for so some guy that works as a porter at the dealership wanted his old ranger painted BRIGHT RED. They brought us some stuff called viper red or viper something that was a single stage which im sure can be crossed over to a bc/cc. This was the brighest stuff ive ever sprayed. His truck sticks out like a sore thumb; itll damn near blind you.

All I know was viper red or something like that and now that I think about it it was def when the dupont/standox/nason guys were there. If it is literally viper red and not some made up name the code should be PRN iirc. Your best bet to find what you like is to just go to a local paint store and ask to look at some chip books or drive around until you see a color you like at a dealership and stop in acting like youre interested in it and while "looking at it" get the paint code, or just ask sales people are so desprit theyd probably find out for you/let you go look if you tell them youre interested in the car.

I'll post a before and after picture of the car. From a dark red to a really bright red. Cant wait.

I'd love to see a pic of several of the same model in different colors all at once, just to compare different paint jobs. Anyone know if there is such a thing out there? Or, a way to change color on a pic of car, like you can do on-line with wheels?

If you have photoshop you can change the whole canvas colors making the red brighter or darker and what not. Don't know if that helps you or not.

And Viper red just sounds sexy. whatever you do, it's going to look really good. I'm probably going with the red that was posted on this thread this spring. Looks amazing.
