the only good thing about the vinyl is you can remove it if you change your mind or go to sell it... good painted stripes are the way to go if she's a keeper. Which style is all on you!!

Stripes or no stripes?-dsc00512.jpgCheck out the stripes in my sig and see what you think. Either way, you're the owner.....

P.S.- The thing to remember about vinyl that is NOT being mentioned here is that although you can always remove them, there may be sun fading on the paint (over time) versus the paint that was covered by the vinyl which may cause you to need a repaint anyway. So keep that in mind if you get vinyl graphics if your only reasonings is because you think you can remove them later if you do not like them.

I was thinking that same thing! I want some body mods but can only afford to do it a little at a time. So thought I'd remove the vinyl and add a wing ect then paint them once all is done. BUT....there just HAS to be some fading.

I have been told that I should have the stripes clear coated. A friend of mine is a bodyshop foreman. He said vinyl will only last so long no matter what. I think this spring I will look into it. Makes sense to me.

+1 for sure on the stripes

and def make sure they're good and wide too.. mine are a little too narrow. but i'd still rather have narrow than not have them at all.. i dunno what it is about them, but they just look sooooo damn good on these cars!

How would you do that? wouldn't it be unleveled anyway and noticeable?
