Still looking to stay busy during the holidays. Here's my latest project - blackout of the trunk emblem. Does it go well with the front blackout (grill, pony, etc.)?

Those are what I'm getting in the spring. I had the smoked plastic headlight covers, but they are a royal pain in the ass. They don't stay on right, and they block out way too much light.

Taped off the center part, scuffed up the rest, and shot it with Duplicolor Ford black. Honestly, I'd remove the damn thing if I could, but it would leave two big holes.

I thought that thing was just stuck on there with two-sided tape.

Nope. Two gigantic holes just below the lock cylinder - they appear to be locating holes. As if someone can't install the damn thing straight. I'd actually planned to have a buddy machine a small bezel ring to go around the lock cylinder so I could remove that hideous dinner plate emblem, until I removed it today and saw the holes. Thanks Ford!!!

It's too bad you can't get headlights with black reflectors, that would really complete the look, much more so than smoked lenses.
