Hi everyone! I'm Steve and I am new to this dforum, although notnew to Mustangs. I had two in my life, a 1987 GT and a 89 LX 5.0. I am getting a 2006 V6 Mustang with the pony package, but would like to add a little performance (dual exhaust, Cold Air intake) but mainly I want a certain look. My favorite mustang is the 65 GT 350, and since this car looks so much like that already, i'd love to really go for it.

I'm looking for hood stripes and side stripe (GT 350), also want a Shelby Spoiler like on the new GT500, and aluminum bits for the interior as well as a imola red leather upgrade ( or I may stay with Black). I would also like to go with HID lights, but they should be legal as well as seqiential tail lights. I would also like to get a front fascia with foglights in the bumper and a GT Grill (billet with the running horse emblem) I know I'm not the only one thats thought about doing this, and I can find most of what I want, but what I can't find is a set of stripes the say GT350 (sides) and or a complete package so that they match the sripes on the hood/roof/trunk. I don't have stripes now, so I am not looking to match the factory ones. I would prefer Silver as it's more of an update than the gold ones.

Well if anyone can help with this it would be greatly appreciated!

for custom leather. expensive, but very nice. using a local place would be a better deal

for your GT500 spoiler. yes this is this cheap. yes it is of excellent quality. they come unpainted (65aprox) and prepainted (90aprox). if you question this just go to the 05+ section and ask. there are a few guys that have this and not one of them have ever had 1 complaint.

for stripes you can go to your local vinyl sign shop and get stripes custom made with custom color. there are also precut stripes at online places that are very good quality, but they are limited on the colors you can choose and the widths you can get. i did mine at a local shop and picked out a dark metallic blue and had them cut to 14 inches wide. i love them and would never choose narrower stripes.

Katzkin has great leather kits, i really recomend them if you want to recover your seats.


And the local vinyl shop is a great idea for the GT 350 stripes if you cant find them
anywhere.

Thanks guys, that will help. I was also wondering about a few things on the 05 to 07 cars, is Traction control standard? I definately need Traction Control, cause i live where it snows a bit.

I have other questions, but i'll find the appropriate thread to put it in.
