Deep Dish Cobra R Rims

I've been looking at some 17" Deep Dish Cobra R's for my 96 GT Convertible. 17" x 9" in front and 17" x 10.5" in the rear. I had a friend tell me that it's possible the wheels might stick out the side of my car (which i don't want). If anybody knows for sure please let me know.....

I've been looking for pictures of these wheels on a 96-98 Stang. Where can I find them?

it will be right there at it but it wont stick out it will be perfect thats why they made them 10.5 instead of 11 wide..the stock rims are exactly 2.5 inches away from the hump in the back...i was thinking about getting them also but i think im going to get the saleens..oh yeah and you may have to take off your quad shocks which you dont even need cuz they will rub on them..and make sure you get the 315 wide tire they fit perfect for the 10.5 rims..

I don't have a clue. One step at a time... this is my first nice car, i've been driving beaters pretty much my whole life.. i broke down this summer and bought my stang, i've been wanting one forever. i don't know if it's good or bad because all i want to do now is buy parts for it.. lol. rims first then i'm thinking headers and exhaust or air intake.

yeah do the rims first then get some flowmasters thats what i have but i do have an 05 motor in mine its new you should do that also later on get the pi version motor cuz the 96 through 98s are slow compared to it..and then after you get flows put on get a an off road h pipe thats what im about to get..and get a set of hid kit off ebay so you can see better and new headlight and turn corners and then tint and then intake then headers and maybe even a supercharger after all that then body kit then new fenders hood and everything there is so much you can do to these things man..

Do the exhaust and X-pipe first. (Magnaflow magnapacks exhaust and Bassani X pipe FTW!) Whats a muscle car without the muscle car sound. If you have the funds do the headers at the same time. It'll make it easier. Whether you go longtube, shorty or midlength depends on your purpose for the car. Next is gears 3:73 or 4:10. Your choice. There's alot of debate over this on this site. MGW shifter or stedda tri-ax. I lean toward the MGW. Underdrive pullies next. By this time you'll need a good tuner Diablosport Predator or SCT Xcal 2. Both are good. Next in suspention. How far you go with that is also personal choice. If you go to the track and run the 1/4 mile you'll do more than a daily driver would need to. I'm just getting lowering springs. As for looks there are some sweet, well priced wheels on ebay. I want the chrome 18x9 / 18x10.5 Bullitt wheels. I want to get 20% tint too.

No I don't know the scripture and no I'm not a christian. I didn't write the prayer, but I like it. I think it's funny. Stop trying to save souls on a mustang web site. I'm sure thier are plenty of christian sites for people who care what you have to say. I'm not one of them. Let it go! :stupid

10.5 in the back? Yeah, maybe. Someone answered how to fix that above.

i actually like hearing what he has to say... rearranging scripture verses can be offensive to people because there are a lot of people who live their life according to what is written in the good book. whether or not you agree or disagree with it you can at least be respectful to other people. thanks

dying for us was the most Jesus could do, living for Him is the least we can do...
