How wide shoul i get the stripes?

Hey so i know a guy that does custom vinyl and he can do some stripes for me really cheap. I was wondering how wide i should get them? I was thinking 10 inches. what do yall think?

im not sure how wide this is, but get them about an inch or 2 outside of the windshield washer fluid things. it looks the best

its aobnoxious how much they cost though

Agree with above, 12" if you have hood pins, 14" if the hood is clean. I like a good 1-1/2" separation between, helps to keep the lines looking separate from far away.

Alright i think i'm gonna do 12" with 1 1/4 apart. What color do you guys think would look the best on a clean black V6? I thinking silver right now.
