couple exterior questions

I'm thinking of getting the mach 1 chin spoiler and grille delete. Is it really worth it for the third piece on the grille delete? What purpose does the third piece do? any pictures on the difference between the two after being installed?

What is the shortest antenna for the mustang. I know americanmuscle has an 8 incher but im sure ive seen shorter and i heard it was a part from a dodge truck. Anyone know a good item and where to get it?

i have the 3pc. imo the 2pc doesnt look as good. the 3 peice comes with the shroud that goes behind the grille assembly. the 2pc doesnt have it and you can see behind the grille/horse alot easier, imo it just looks half assed.

as for the antenna, i had a 8" for about 2 days till i went to the car was and it got snapped off. if you want something shorter than 8" you might as well just completely take off your antenna or cut your stock one to the desired length u want

+1 dont buy an antenna lol just get a dremel cut it to the desired length .. taper the end you cut .. get a vice or some pliars and pop the ball off the piece you cut off and hammer it back on the shortend piece.. add some paint to cover what ever scratches you made.. ta da!! no more R/C Car antenna!

3 piece looks best. And I think there are antenna delete kits out there. My buddy has one on his Cobra. It still picks up radio stations pretty good too.

yes to the 3 piece, its a better look. i even went as far as getting the coral and making it look like a roush one.
as far as the antenna, just cut it down. i cut mine down to be about level with the roof of the car and it still has perfect reception.

IMO if you do the grill delete, spray your radiator with some flat black spray paint and it will look alot better
