Engine blackout?

I am not one that is big on visual bits, I can appreciate a nice looking car, but going out of my way for something that catches the eye is not for me. One thing I have had on my mind for a while is a black engine. I don't know how much of it I could do, but I think it would be pretty cool to paint everything black. What do you guys think about that idea?

depends on what kinda black you're plannin on goin wit. powdercoat, gloss, flat, ect. i'd go wit the gloss black cause that would be the best look under the hood, imo. i've thought about doin it as well but that involves a lil more time that i dont have for my daily driver, ya kno.

Was thinking about flat black, that way any leaks are easier to find.
