Guage Cover

I am wanting to remove my guage cover (the peice that had the glass) from my cluster. I can do that part, but the trim that goes around the guages is attached to the glass. Any idea how to take the glass off so I could paint the vinyl trim?

The "glass" (plastic) is attached to the black plastic that goes around the actual guages. You can see here : Black Instrument Bezel & Clear Lens (99-04) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

You could probably cut it off w/ a die grinder or something and possibly glue it back on then but I don't know what the results would be of cutting it.

I think im going to just pass on doing it. I do not want to damage it. Cutting would be a bad idea for me haha

Oh don't get me wrong... I love a little challenge sometimes. I just rather not break it and end up having to order a new one from AM or something.

I will find a way to do this down the road... I assure you.
