anyone know if their are different shades of blacks for 95. bc im trying to get the paint so i can paint my bumper but the parts store guy said their are like 2 diff shades of black.

1995 Mustang Production Numbers

there ya go list of all the colors in production in 95, 3 shades of red, 2 of blue, 2 of white, but only one black.

There is only one shade of black for 95's. Sounds like you need to switch paint suppliers.

i looked at the paint, its black with blue flakes. i think my paint is not stock.

they can get a profit for you and match the paint. If he cant walk out there and sit his lil scanner on their for you then go to someone else. Tell him to get his lazy ass up and come take a profit of the paint.

yeah their is a paint shop close to were i live and match my paint, i forgot how much the gallon was though.

haha yeah thanks man! now i just have to come up with another $10K so I can put a whole new engine & tranny in it!! lol

dammit money sucks.

there is no way you are going to need a gallon to paint your bumper - maybe a quart.

yeah thats what the guy told me about a quart. i got a friend that paint so he will do it for free, hopefully i can get it done this week cuz im tired of that purple lol

Got news for ya, it shouldn't take a quart to paint 1 front bumper. It can be done with a pint. A quart would probably cover damn near the whole front end.

When my friend and I painted my car we used 2 qts of black and 1 qt of competition orange. You can see how much it covers as long as it isn't wasted.

Take your VIN # to a Ford dealer and they can tell you what color code it is and if it's stock or not.

I was gonna say a pint but you are probably going to need a little more cause you cant just paint the bumper you are going to have to blend into the fenders and hood

my original color was green bc, i can see on the hinges the color were the didn't paint
