black rims and a drop?

what do you guys think? had some ppl do a photochop for me ... keep the rims the color they are? or get them painted black? the drop will come no matter what!

All black rims look horrible to me. I mean, there is nothing seperating your tires from your rims. It just all blends together and looks messy.

If you want black, get a rim that has a polished lip on it. They look great because there is a seperation of the rim/tire.

Generally I would say black, but I like what you have now because of the body color...
IMHO, I cant stand black rims with the lip silver.

Zatrekaz- I cant believe you don't like all black, they would look great after your interior is done. What would you think of getting the lip painted red?

btw, these wernt my 1st choice of rims, they were for sale for 200 bucks, so i snagged them up!

I just dont like the ALL black look of rims. A seperation is needed to me. Hence why my interior is not ALL black haha. I am seriosuly trying to find some black rims tho. I want to trade my 18" Chrome Saleens for some. I would acually like 17" to get some ride quality back Lol.

Oh, and no color should ever go on rims but shades of white/black imo (chrome, black, sliver, black chrome, ect). Any color other than that looks tacky to me. Now, there are some amazing cars that can pull it off, but even then it's in the air for me.

Maybe leaving the lip silver would make it o.k. but still would be missing something. I dont know... just... I dont know

haha thats funny you say this, i might be getting a cowl hood in a few weeks!!... the only think is my scoop is functional.. so there will be a hole in my hood...

sounds good to me man!! im still not sold 100 percent of a cowl hood yet, i LOVE black and silver and with a cowl it seems too hard to get that scheme going... but im prolly getting one!

You could make it work. Most cowl hoods have a drop off point of some kind. It's not just a big curve ya know? Could paint the top section black and rest sliver.

well, i really like the look of them... i will either have a v8 put in soon or a beefy v6 w/in the next year.
