True Satin Black Paint Job-DONE- Teaser pics

******UPDATED PICS ON PAGE 2******

I painted my mustang almost two months ago now but havent had a chance to reassemble it, put real mirrors on or the rims. It is a black with blue pearl and when the light hits it you can see the pearl clear as day, so beautiful. Today im finally taking it back out of storage and doing its first coat of wax and putting some more of the parts on it today. Just teaser pics for now from different stages, will be posting better ones soon. still need to paint the side skirts and side scoops. Shaved the side emblems, antenna and heres a new one, the trunk lock. not sure if anyone has ever done that before but it looks killer.

A few from in the primer booth for its first coat of primer. brought the car down to metal and did a full color change, fenders off to repaint all the parts of the door jams.

Fresh out of the booth and starting to reinstall parts(handles, bumper, ugly mirrors) dont even know why I considered those mirrors, stocks going back on today if I can find them

im going to go with painted stockers for now, the wallet is a bit flat for the cobras unless someone wants to give me the hook up. I think im going to do bullitt side scoops, im not feeling the gt ones right now. I also have to get my real digital camera out, cant find the damn charger, I took all these pics with my blackberry

Looks good. I am a big fan of satin paints. While you were at it, you should have shaved out the side scoops. I have seen it done once before and it looks great!

to each there own on if they like it, its a love hate relationship haha. thanks for the props though from everyone even if its just on the quality(didnt come out to my standards actually since im a perfectionist but its cleannnn)

I wanted to shave the side scoops actually but due to time constraints and me not making up my mind I decided not to, bullitt sides will basically look the same and next owner can make up their mind if they like it or not. Im still 50/50 on selling the car so I didnt want to go too overboard incase I did want to sell it.

Awesome job!! This is my favorite paintjob on any car, and it looks completely bad@$$ on the mustangs. Wish I had the money to do this too, but I'll be happy with the glossy black for now

I would totally black it out. Dark head lights ans tail lights too. Tint the windows as much as you can get away with.
