buyn a saleen body kit

Just wonderin what you guyz think bout a saleen body kits. I found a brand new kit thats fiber glass and the guy is giving me side scoops also all for $200. Really just wondering how good they fit and how much crap ya got to go through to get them to look rite. Need some feedback before i decide to buy it. thankz also i got a 98 gt

Fiberglass will crack. I would get urethane unless the whole kit (front/rear bumper and sideskirts) is $200. If it's all 200 bucks and it's in good shape it looks like you got a hell of a deal. Try to find out where he got it from.

ya it has both front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and side scoops all for $200 and the guy got it off ebay as a brand new kit and just never got around to installing it. But I didnt no if $200 was cheap or not for a fiber glass kit (it is brand new still in the orginal packaging with no cracks or scuffs). Do the fiber glass kits fit good or you think im going to have to do some trimming and fitting before paint?

yea dude thats cheap as hell. As long as you get it, paint it and watch how you drive and dont hit any animals u'll be alright. A buddy of mine bought the fiberglass kit off ebay for his eclipse. A possum ran out in front of him, he hit and and it crack the front piece badly..

Fiberglass is a POS. I had a Black Widow body kit on my car. Was NOTHING but problems and headaches. The whole fitment was off, the material is flemsy and cheap, plus it is very easy to pull off.

If you want a bodykit, get Urethane. Belive me, you WILL regret getting fiberglass. Take it from my experience.
