at least every season change if you dont want to buff and polish again.

i should start doing that then.

as far as washin the car i was it in circles with normal soap and a big sponge. usually i do half of the drivers side then the other half...then hit up the tires and rims. then the front or the rear. while geting the windows the the last side.
i rarely clean my engine. actually today was the second time in 2 yrs

Good tips, you guys.


I use Windex and paper towels for everything.


For the interior, compressed air works great to get the fuzzies out of the carpet.


J/K.

I use a car detergent (at work so don't know the brand), some soft sponges for the body and a coarser one for the wheels and windows.

I spray it off with the good ol' garden hose. I then use a chamme (sp) to dry it. Then I go for the blow dry drive and then the final drip collecting dry off after returning home.

i bought that ice stuff when it first came out, i used it one time.. i didnt really notice a difference, then i bought maguires tech wax gel or whatever. it one a huge huge difference, the tech wax is the best ive seen. its all i use now, the more you wax the better it gets

plus one. i use the nex gen quick detailer from meguires a couple times a week and wax once or twice a month. love the blue gloss. it sparkles in the sun and mirrors in the shade.
